Who / what is Rothmans?
Rothmans is a trademark of the company TZ Product & Business Development SL, based in Barcelona.
Does the indicated price include taxes?
If you are connecting from Spain, the indicated price of the products includes VAT. If you are connecting from anywhere else in the world, the indicated price does not include VAT.
Does the indicated price include shipping?
No, the price with shipping is indicated at checkout, based on the shipping address you provide.
Which shipping companies do you work with?
In Spain, we default to shipping with MRW or Packlink. Additionally, and for international shipments, we collaborate with FEDEX.
Do you issue invoices?
Certainly. During the purchasing process, we will request your tax information and email address. Additionally, you will receive an invoice via email once your payment is verified.
What type of attachment system do Rothmans’ steering wheels have?
All our steering wheels are compatible with steering hubs with 3xØ6mm and 6xØ5mm.
Are the steering wheels homologated?
No, our steering wheels are NOT homologated for races where CIK/FIA homologation is a requirement due to their shape and the use of carbon fiber in some components, a material not allowed by the FIA for karting races.
Where are the steering wheels from Rothmans manufactured?
All our steering wheels are hand-assembled at a special employment center in Gijón, Asturias, which employs people with disabilities. All MRS components are manufactured by Spanish and European suppliers, except for the buttons, which are made in China.
Do you use returnable packaging?
No, all our products are delivered in recycled and/or recyclable packaging. The box is made of recycled and recyclable cardboard, and the inner foam is recycled.
What is the final price of the steering wheels and what does it include in that price?
The detailed prices of each product can be found on our website. Each MRS includes the steering wheel, an impact damper for mounting on any type of steering hub, internal wiring, external wiring with a starter relay to activate and deactivate the engine from the steering wheel buttons, and a recycled nylon cover to protect the steering wheel when not in use.
I am a distributor, what discount can you offer me?
The prices of our products are identical both in our online store and physical stores. However, if you wish to distribute our products and accessories in your physical or online store, please contact us at contact@rothmansracing.com.
We are a club and would like to make a group purchase. Can you offer us a special price?
No, we always sell our products at the same retail price through all our channels. Moreover, only selected distributors will enjoy special conditions in exchange for annual purchase commitments and minimum purchase quantities.
The price of the steering wheels seems high to me.
Do not purchase it.
How long does it take to ship the product?
If the product is in stock, we ship in less than 24 business hours. Should the product is not in stock but the components are, we will ship within 24/48 hours. Last, If we do not have stock, we will inform you of the delivery times before confirming your purchase.
Does your R+800/R+1000/R+1500 headlight include any type of fastenings?
All our eBike headlights come standard with a mount for installation on the steering tube. Additionally, during the purchasing process, you’ll need to indicate the diameter of your steering tube (1″, 1 1/8″, or 1 1/4″) so that we can send you the exact reference for your eBike.
Are your headlights and rear lights for eBikes and motorcycles homologated?
Yes, they have European homologation and are suitable for eBikes, mopeds, and motorcycles up to 125cc (L1e-A, L1e-B, L3e).
Where are the LED lighting systems for eBikes from Rothmans manufactured?
All the LEDs used in our headlights are from the OSRAM brand and manufactured in Germany. The mounts are manufactured in Spain. Furthermore the assembly of the headlight is done in Taiwan. The box and inner foam are recyclable and manufactured in Spain. The packaging and labeling of our products are done in Spain.
Do you use returnable packaging?
No, all our products are delivered in recycled and/or recyclable packaging. In the case of LED headlights for eBikes, the box is made of recycled and recyclable cardboard, and the inner foam is recycled.
Do the R+ lighting systems heat up during operation?
Yes. Like all headlights composed of LED light-emitting diodes, the temperature will depend on the selected lighting mode (DRL less heat, High beam/1500 lumens more heat). However, thanks to more efficient technology and an oversized housing, our headlights do not heat up as much as those of the competition, let alone cheaper headlights. This protects the life of the internal components both physically and thermally.

The price of the R+ headlights for eBikes seems high to me.
Apart from the distinctive technical features of our R+ Rothmans headlights, the price includes a sequential button for mode switching and a mount to fix them to the steering tube. Neertheless, If you still find our headlights expensive, we wish you the best of luck with your purchase if you decide to buy them elsewhere.
What is the nominal operating voltage of your headlights?
Our headlights can operate with electrical systems ranging from 12V to 48V without the need for intermediate DC/DC conversion. If you have a 36V or 48V eBike, you can directly connect our headlights.
